I think it has been a while since I have done a tag. I have been so pre-occupied with reading more books that it slipped my mind. With that said, I digged (Yes, digged. Because a lot of great tags and awards are somewhere over the rainbow.) and I found this amazing tag created by Daniel at How to Read Books. I want to thank Lara at KatnissPotterBookLover, who originally tagged me for this.
For one, I think that this is an amazing tag. And second, it’s just a fangirl’s cup of tea. I mean combining history and my favorite books for a tag? Jolly good. The inner history nerd in me has been awakened. In the days of yore, before reading YA novels, I was into reading historical books. So this is the best mix yet.

Onto the tag we go!
1) Marilyn Monroe: The most glamorous book you have ever read.
Glamorous. Glamorous. Glamorous.
To be honest I have not read anything as glamorous as Miss Marilyn Monroe. Yet, on the back of my head, The Selection by Kiera Cass definitely showcased a glamorous lifestyle within it’s scene. But a book that truly shows glamour? I would have to read more recommendations and actually read the said book with glamour. Although, I am anticipating Richelle Mead’s The Glittering Court. That I think may help me define glamour in it’s many aspects. Definitely one of the books that I cannot wait to get my hands on.
I mean have you guys seen the cover? To be honest, I have never read anything by Richelle Mead but I think with the premise and glamour that The Glittering Court offers, I will be picking it up soon.
2) Winston Churchill: The best leader in a book and why.
This may be a case of heartbreak and sorrow, but it is definitely Captain David Torrence from Illuminae. I see persistence in him, the ideals that I have neve read about a leader before. I hated him, but at the same time I understood how he is doing for the greater good. His dedication to everyone aboard the Alexander made me cry. I hate AIDAN so much.
3) Adolf Hitler: The most ruthless book dictator.
Speaking of AIDAN… kidding. I was actually thinking about Alma Coin for this one. I just realized that I DNF’ed Mockingjay. Oops. So the next person I thought of was the king from the Throne of Glass series. I mean, if anyone is ruthless, it’s that guy! I bet he gets worse every passing chapter. I’m only on Crown of Midnight so who knows what awaits me.
4) Maya Angelou: The character who brought about the most change, or had the most personal development.
Personally, I cannot name a character that I can say made an impact to me as a reader on the way their character developed over time. So I am going with the next best character I could think of: Percy Jackson.
Come to think about it, Percy did start as an annoying kid with a lot of problems. He felt like he didn’t belong. Camp Half-Blood molded him into a courageous leader. Like a hero fit for battle, and surviving it against all odds. He is not like the heroes from the past because he is amazing in every way. Annabeth is just teasing you, Percy. You’re no seaweed brain.
5) Queen Elizabeth II: Your most favourite member of a royal family within a book.
I wanted to say Maxon but I haven’t read the entire series yet so I’m going with Nikolai from The Grisha Trilogy.
I’m a sucker for a gray character. He adds more life to the story. Plus he is one of the characters who kept me hanging whilst reading Siege and Storm.
6) Albert Einstein: The kookiest, craziest, most bonkers book character ever!
Finally! I can fit AIDAN from Illuminae somewhere. As a person studying in IT, I found myself horrified by the brilliance of this Artificial Intelligence. At the same time, I screamed with the other characters saying that “He’s mad!”. Bonkers and cuckoo.
Although, it’s a tie with The Mage from Carry On. Teehee.
7) Brutus: The most betraying character of all the characters.
Nick from Fangirl. I can never forgive that annoying credit stealer for doing that to Cath. He’s too horrible. Comparing Cath to Julius Caesar is practically an understatement. I hate that guy with a passion of a thousand exploding suns. (Hey, casual HIMYM reference lol)
I may or may not have gone crazy about this tag but I can assure you, it was fun! Lovely tags are lovely. So I tag you people!
